Kara lived in Mexico for eight years and this painting was created to bring the warmth of Mexico, which she holds deep in her heart, to the viewer. "Making Guacamole" includes two of guacamole's most important ingredients, avacados and limes. The complex colors were created from mixing, the color Rosa Mexicana, and the lovely shadows and are important elements in this unique painting. It can be displayed solo or as a series in your kitchen, bar or any room of your home.
