My painting of “Sitting by the Pool” is a rendition of an inspiring class Kara took from Rose Cameron Art.  Kara  was inspired to paint this having spent hours sitting by the pool as a member of swim team, lifeguard, swimming instructor, vacations, teaching her daughters how to swim and now swimming with friends for exercise. The painting was primarily created with impasto, or thick textured brush strokes.
