A Hundred Faces: Brushstrokes of Humanity
A portrait exhibition celebrating connection, individuality and the beauty of human expression.
Each portrait is painted in Kara's contemporary impressionistic style and captures more than a likeness -- it captures personality, emotion, memory and the fleeting beauty found in everyday moments.
Inspired by human connection and the stories we carry within us, the project brings together one hundred unique faces representing all stages of life, personalities and experiences. Some portraits are joyful and bold. Others are quiet and reflective. Together, they create a visual celebration of humanity. The completed collection will be exhibited at Austin Art Space the week of March 20, 2027, before each portrait is delivered to its collector.
Commission a Meaningful Painting
A limited number of portrait reservations are available for inclusion in the exhibition.
Each commissioned portrait includes:
* Original 8" x 8" acrylic portrait painting
*Professional white wood frame
*Includes participation in the March 20, 2027 exhibition at Austin Art Space
*Delivery following the exhibition
Portraits are created from submitted reference photos selected for strong lighting, expression and composition.
Whether honoring a child, parent, grandparent, friend, spouse or even yourself, these portraits are designed to preserve a feeling and moment in time.

Kara's commissioned paintings can be found in private collections throughout Texas and across the United States and Canada. Her work has been featured in Times Square, juried exhibitions and national publications.

→ Framed Portraits – $130 each
Reserve a ready-made portrait from the A Hundred Faces series. Each 8” × 8” portrait is presented in a white wooden frame and will be delivered after the gallery exhibition.
→ Custom Commission Portraits – $175 each
Capture a cherished loved one in Kara’s signature style. Each custom 8” × 8” acrylic portrait is created from your submitted reference photo.
Add $15 shipping to each portrait. All portraits will be delivered after the gallery show concludes.
