This small but expressive piece layers textured grasses, soft lavender fields, and a distant red tile-roofed home. I loved exploring movement and abstraction while still honoring a sense of place—evoking the way landscapes imprint themselves on our hearts.
Lavender fields stir something in all of us—memories of Provence; the rolling hills of the Cotswolds; or even summer drives through the Texas Hill Country. Their color, fragrance, and quiet rhythm feel like a deep exhale.
I love this piece so much, I’m planning to repaint it as a large 48” x 36” canvas.
