Merri Mini #200: Peonies & Sunshine
A joyful milestone! I’m so happy to share the 200th painting in my Merri Mini series—Peonies & Sunshine. This piece feels like a little celebration of summer: a cheerful vase overflowing with soft pink peonies, happy white daisies, and tiny dot-like blooms that bring texture and whimsy. And beside the vase? A single lemon, adding a bright pop of yellow and a little wink of sunshine to the whole composition.
This mini is a reminder of how much joy can be found in simple, beautiful things—a flower arrangement, a fresh lemon, and the act of noticing.
Painting 200 of these Merri Minis has been such a meaningful journey for me. Each one is an opportunity to pause, play with color, and find beauty in the everyday. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has followed along, collected them, and shared in their joy.
