Enduring Love
Some love stories begin in high school and continue to deepen over a lifetime.
This portrait celebrates my sister and her husband, whose journey together began as high school sweethearts. Through the years, they built a beautiful family, raising two wonderful children, Andrew and Ashley, while becoming beloved aunt and uncle to my own daughters.
Captured from a photograph taken during a trip to Amsterdam, I wanted this painting to reflect more than their likeness. My goal was to capture the quiet ease, affection, and lifelong friendship that come from sharing decades together.
