At the Edge of Evening | Earth & Air Collection

At the Edge of Evening is an original abstract painting from my Earth & Air Collection, inspired by the fleeting light that lingers along the horizon as day gives way to dusk. Deep, earthy green grounds the composition beneath layers of soft ivory, muted taupe, and atmospheric neutrals, while a broken passage of gold leaf illuminates the boundary between earth and sky.

Broad, expressive brushwork and subtle layers of color give this contemporary abstract landscape a quiet sense of depth and movement. The irregular gold leaf catches the light differently throughout the day, creating a luminous contrast against the rich green below.
