Drifting Between | Earth & Air Collection

Drifting Between is an original abstract painting from my Earth & Air Collection, exploring the quiet movement of organic forms through layers of softened color. Deep charcoal and blue-black shapes emerge against misty sage, pale blue, blush, ivory, and warm earth tones, while touches of gold leaf bring unexpected moments of light to the surface.

Loose, expressive brushwork and softened edges allow forms to appear and disappear within the atmospheric ground. Rather than defining a particular landscape, this contemporary abstract painting leaves space for interpretation—suggesting stones, water, earth, or fragments suspended somewhere between the familiar and imagined.
